Salary Range: Mainscale M1-M6

Could you be the lucky person who gets our youngest children off to a flying start?

Malvern Wyche C of E Primary School is looking to appoint an engaging, warm and accomplished teacher with Early Years training or experience to join our delightful school. We want someone who, like us, puts relationships at the heart of everything they do, has high aspirations for children’s achievements, academically, socially and spiritually, and can help children not just to fly, but to soar.

Our school motto is "Together We Soar", meaning that through mutual support, and high expectations, we can “soar on wings like eagles”, (Isaiah 40:31) just like the buzzards which circle high above our beautiful setting on the slopes of the stunning Malvern Hills. The successful candidate will teach 3 days a week in Red Class, a class made up of 20 reception and 10 year 1 pupils. There is an experienced job-share partner who is also the SENCo. We hope the successful candidate will build on the success and achievements of the previous incumbent by bringing their own ideas and inspirations to the role, developing our already popular provision in collaboration with Red class staff and the school’s supportive leadership.

The school is committed to the safeguarding and protection of children and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting their welfare is essential. The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced DSB check prior to commencing employment.

Visits to the school are strongly encouraged and tours will be given on the following dates:

Thursday 18th April at 4pm and 5pm

Monday 22nd April at 4pm and 5pm

Tuesday 23rd April at 4pm and 5pm

Thursday 25th April at 4.30pm

Friday 24th April at 4pm.

Please phone or email the school office to arrange a tour. The closing date for applications is Monday 29th April 2024 at 3.30pm.

Interviews will take place on Friday 3rd May for a September 2024 start.

Good luck.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

The successful candidate will require an enhanced DBS check along with other relevant pre-employment checks.
